Hello friend! Youre not bothering me in the slightest. It can take a long time to learn to love our bodies – especially if its still changing shape or developing as we go through the years. The fact that youve reached out to someone to ask for helps shows that youre fighting these disordered thoughts. Focus on how amazing your body can be. Step away from the tunnel vision of how it looks/feels and look toward what it can do and all the amazing things it allows you to experience. Your heart that beats blood around your body so you can move and live. You lungs that let you breathe in fresh air. Your nose that lets you experience all the amazing smells in the world. Hands that allow you to pet all the good dogs.
All parts of you are beautiful, even if you cant see it right now. Food can be difficult for a lot of people, and I dont have the experience to tell you how to handle it in a positive and healthy way. Listen to the side of you that is telling you to eat healthily and not to skip meals. Skipping will only make you feel shitty. You are so worthy of food and nourishment. Your body deserves to be loved by you. Even if its just a little bit at a time, you will get there eventually. Keep fighting those feelings of hate towards your body. Youre beautiful, your body is beautiful and you are so so strong. I know you can get through this and keep going. I know you can focus your energy on recovery and not on relapse. I know you can do this – and so do you.
